The project authorizes one 50-seat MBBS college in Khunti and three 100-seat colleges in Jamtara, Dhanbad and Giridih. The approval enables public-private partnerships to finance, construct and operate the institutions, aiming to expand medical education capacity, strengthen regional healthcare infrastructure, increase availability of specialist doctors in rural and semi-urban areas, and create local employment opportunities.
