<h1>Customs seize over Rs 360 crore in gold and narcotics at airports, 74 arrests in six months</h1> Over the past six months, Customs at Delhi airports reported seizures of gold and narcotics exceeding Rs 360 crore, including 26.269 kg of gold (approx. Rs 24.68 crore) and 239 kg of narcotics across 52 cases (approx. Rs 338.03 crore), with 74 arrests for Customs violations and realized duties of Rs 10.80 crore up to October 15, 2025. Authorities destroyed narcotics valued at around Rs 850 crore during a cleanliness drive and highlighted interdictions at the international airport, including concealed hydroponic ganja and a novel method hiding a gold cylinder inside a water-bottle cap.
