<h1>EU adds 45 entities to sanctions for allegedly enabling export-control circumvention of dual-use tech aiding Russia's military capabilities</h1> The European Union added 45 entities to its 19th sanctions package for allegedly supporting Russia's military-industrial complex by facilitating circumvention of export controls on CNC machine tools, microelectronics, unmanned aerial vehicles and other advanced technologies. Designated entities face tighter export restrictions on dual-use goods and items that could enhance Russia's defence capabilities. Seventeen designated entities are based outside Russia - including firms in China (inc. Hong Kong), three India-based companies and two in Thailand. There was no immediate response from Indian authorities to the listings.
