<h1>Prime Minister to inaugurate projects worth about Rs 13,430 crore including industry, power, roads, rail, defence, gas</h1> The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit a state on Oct 16 to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for projects totalling about Rs 13,430 crore across industry, power transmission, roads, rail, defence manufacturing and petroleum and natural gas, and to attend a GST reform promotion event. Major initiatives include a 765 kV transmission strengthening project (>Rs 2,880 crore), two industrial hubs (>Rs 4,920 crore) expected to attract ~Rs 21,000 crore investment and 100,000 jobs, highway and rail upgrades (~Rs 1,200 crore), a natural gas pipeline (~Rs 1,730 crore), and energy and defence manufacturing facilities. State authorities have ordered security and event arrangements.
