<h1>Benchmark equity indices rebound on foreign fund inflows; blue-chips, IT, industrials lead as FIIs buy ahead of results</h1> Benchmark equity indices rebounded in early trade driven by foreign fund inflows and buying in major blue-chip, IT and industrial counters, with the 30-stock index up about 201 points and the 50-stock gauge up about 64 points. Gains were led by steel, technology, pharmaceutical, automotive, conglomerate, banking and consumer goods stocks, while utilities and select finance and luxury segments lagged. FIIs were net buyers of equities. Regional Asian markets showed mixed trends and crude eased. Market participants said upcoming corporate results and US market strength would influence near-term direction.
