<h1>Deemed university to use Rs 12.84 crore grant to create centre for ICU palliative care research and scalable end-of-life models</h1> A deemed university received a Rs. 12.84 crore government research grant to establish a centre for advanced research at its hospice and respite facility to integrate palliative care into intensive-care settings. The centre will develop and evaluate a Multifaceted Comprehensive Appropriate Care Package across a multi-centre network, engage ten clinical sites and seven technical partners, and encompass medicine, nursing, bioethics, health economics, law and public health. The project aims to produce evidence for nationally scalable ICU end-of-life care models, inform health policy, strengthen implementation science, and align outcomes with national and international health goals.
