<h1>Prime Minister inaugurates Phase One of new international airport and dedicates final metro phase, launches mobility app and employability program</h1> The prime minister will inaugurate phase one of a new international airport in Navi Mumbai and dedicate the final phase of a major city metro line during a two-day state visit, also launching an integrated mobility app for multiple public transport operators and a short-term employability program for technical schools and ITIs. The airport, developed under a public-private partnership at about Rs 19,650 crore, will operate alongside the existing international airport; the metro project totals about Rs 37,270 crore with the recently completed phase costing Rs 12,200 crore. Enhanced security deployments have been implemented for the visit.
