Officials reviewed preliminary mapping against the 2005 roll, published a searchable 2005 roll online, and identified required documents for SIR, including identity, birth, education, residence and caste certificates; Aadhaar is accepted as supporting identity (not proof of citizenship) following a Supreme Court order. Polling stations were rationalised, with 49 new and 12 merged, totaling 3,615.
