CFOs prioritize EPM-ERP integration, automation and data unification; legal teams must manage vendor, privacy and compliance risks
A sponsored survey of 100 senior finance executives in India reports that digital transformation, reducing data siloes, workflow automation and tighter EPM-ERP integration are top CFO priorities, while cost and legacy-system integration are principal barriers; only about 20% report fully integrated systems and nearly 30% rely on manual processes. From a legal perspective, firms pursuing EPM modernization should assess contractual risk allocation with vendors, data governance and privacy compliance, change-control and legacy-system liability, regulatory reporting accuracy, and procurement/benchmarking procedures to mitigate integration, compliance and operational-continuity exposures.
