India and Qatar ministers co-chair trade commission meeting to review barriers, boost investment, and finalize CEPA terms of reference
An Indian Union minister of commerce is co-chairing a bilateral joint commission meeting with the Qatari commerce minister in Doha to review bilateral trade, address trade barriers and non-tariff issues, and advance an India-Qatar free trade/CEPA process by finalizing Terms of Reference. Senior officials and a business delegation will engage Qatari business bodies and investment agencies to boost trade and investment across finance, agriculture, environment, tourism, culture and healthcare. The meeting follows an earlier joint working group and an agreement to upgrade it to a minister-led joint commission.
