<h1>Nationwide three-month campaign Oct-Dec 2025 to help citizens find and claim unclaimed financial assets and inheritances</h1> A central finance ministry, in coordination with the central bank, insurance regulator, securities regulator and investor-protection authority, will run a three-month nationwide awareness campaign (Oct-Dec 2025) on unclaimed financial assets, to be launched from Gandhinagar on 4 October. The campaign targets unclaimed insurance claims, bank deposits, dividends, shares and mutual fund proceeds, offering on-the-spot guidance, digital tools, SOPs and FAQs to help citizens and legal heirs locate, update records and claim funds. A financial inclusion exhibition with stalls from banks, insurers, asset managers and pension institutions will support outreach.
