The cabinet also approved distribution of two free LPG cylinders to 18.6 million beneficiary families under the central Ujjwala scheme for Holi and Diwali; paddy procurement policies with revised MSPs (common paddy Rs 2,369/qtl, Grade A Rs 2,389/qtl), a 6 million tonne target and 700 additional procurement centres; coarse-grain procurement with increased maize and bajra prices and specified district targets; a textile park scheme allocating 50 acres per park; and Letters of Intent to three private universities.
