State-owned firm aims logistics to drive 45-50% of revenue by 2030 after expansion into rail, warehousing, cold-chain
A diversified state-owned company expects its logistics vertical to generate 45-50% of total revenue by 2030, against a projected group turnover of Rs 6,000 crore, and anticipates Rs 3,000 crore in revenue this financial year. The firm reported strong early-quarter performance and has expanded into railway logistics with three rakes deployed under an agreement with a steel producer, launched third-party logistics with a new eastern-zone warehousing hub (with plans for similar regional hubs) and a planned cold-chain, and operates container freight stations. It will focus on four core verticals-industrial packaging, grease and lubricants, logistics, and travel-and exit refinery and oilfield services, while seeking growth in private ticketing.
