<h1>State anti-narcotics campaign arrests 30,540 suspects in 205 days; 81 arrested, 59 FIRs in one-day raids</h1> Over a 205-day anti-narcotics campaign, state police arrested 30,540 alleged drug smugglers, conducting raids at 395 locations on one reporting day that yielded 81 arrests and 59 FIRs; recovered items included 922 g of heroin, 4 kg poppy husk, 336 tablets/capsules and cash. More than 150 teams and 1,100 personnel under 74 gazetted officers have participated in operations. The chief minister has directed senior officials to pursue a drug-free state, and the government formed a five-member cabinet sub-committee led by the finance minister to monitor a three-pronged Enforcement, De-addiction and Prevention (EDP) strategy.
