<h1>Chief minister urges farm diversification, launches 55,000 fruit saplings, supports cattle rearers, women entrepreneurs, and agri centres</h1> The state chief minister urged farmers to pursue agricultural diversification and prioritize coarse grains, promoting activities such as medicinal-plant cultivation, beekeeping, mushroom production and horticulture to raise incomes, and affirmed continued government support. At a university-hosted Rabi agriculture fair the government launched a fruit-sapling distribution scheme to provide 55,000 saplings across 110 villages, issued up to Rs 40,000 in mock cheques to 50 cattle rearers under an indigenous-cow and Murrah development programme, granted dairy-establishment approvals to 75 women entrepreneurs, and opened an agricultural entrepreneurship centre plus two women's hostels.
