<h1>Greece backs early India-EU free trade deal, affirms stronger strategic partnership and support for India 2026 AI Impact Summit</h1> The Greek prime minister called the Indian prime minister to convey Greece's support for an early conclusion of a mutually beneficial India-EU free trade agreement and for the success of India's 2026 AI Impact Summit; the leaders reviewed bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, technology, shipping, defence, security, connectivity and people-to-people ties and affirmed strengthening the strategic partnership. The call followed the 13th round of India-EU FTA negotiations in New Delhi, noting 11 chapters already concluded, including customs and trade facilitation, dispute settlement, digital trade, sustainable food systems, SMEs, competition and capital movements.
