The initiative targets over 87,000 local residents and about 2.7 million annual visitors by improving tourism planning, climate-resilient infrastructure, sanitation, waste management, and disaster preparedness. Interventions include institutional strengthening, nature-based measures to reduce landslide and flood risk, inclusive tourism services prioritizing women and youth, livelihood matching grants for micro and small businesses, universal access design, and a pilot women-led disaster risk management program.
