Indian carriers resume normal services to Kathmandu, add repatriation flights with waivers, flexible rebooking and refunds
Indian carriers will resume normal services to Kathmandu after the airport reopened, with additional flights scheduled to repatriate passengers stranded during recent unrest. Several operators had cancelled services while the airport was closed; some are offering fee waivers, flexible rebooking and full refunds for affected bookings. The government has coordinated with carriers and urged fares remain reasonable. The disruptions followed nationwide restrictive orders and a curfew imposed amid mass protests and the resignation of the Nepalese prime minister.
