<h1>Incubated startup rolls out BEADS anaerobic bio-electrochemical system for industrial wastewater, cutting costs and recovering energy</h1> An incubated startup has deployed a next-generation wastewater treatment technology, BEADS (Bio-Electrochemical Anaerobic Digestor System), in industrial units in Erode district, delivering claimed cost savings, energy recovery and carbon reduction. The anaerobic, electrode-integrated system reportedly accelerates organic waste degradation and recovers electricity without requiring aeration, chemicals or frequent electrode replacement, while producing minimal sludge. The company, founded by alumni of a national technical institute, has completed installations in two industrial units and plans nationwide deployment to offer sustainable and potentially profitable industrial effluent treatment.
