<h1>Three cyber police staff booked for alleged bribery, extortion and misuse of office under Prevention of Corruption Act</h1> Three police personnel posted at a west Delhi cyber police station have been booked on corruption charges after the Delhi Police vigilance unit registered two separate FIRs. In the first case a resident alleged being summoned and threatened with false implication while being asked to pay Rs 50,000; the vigilance enquiry found harassment, demand of bribe and misuse of official position substantiated. In the second case a resident and her husband alleged officers demanded and accepted Rs 1.85 lakh to drop a fake social-media-ID complaint, with further extortion alleged; investigations under the Prevention of Corruption Act are ongoing.
