<h1>Private investor alliance pledges over $1B to back India-domiciled deep-tech startups across semiconductors, AI, biotech and climate</h1> A coalition of U.S. and Indian investment firms has formed a private industry alliance to mobilize over $1 billion in long-term capital for India-domiciled deep-tech startups across semiconductors, space, quantum, AI, biotech, medical devices, energy/climate and the digital economy. Members commit multi-year capital, mentorship, market access and voluntary information-sharing for pipeline development and co-investment, while preserving each member's independent fund strategies. The alliance will coordinate engagement with the Indian government's R&D and Innovation scheme and pursue ecosystem convenings and policy dialogue. An advisory committee will govern shared objectives; a global law firm is advising on legal structuring.
