<h1>State cabinet grants late chief minister's lifetime Morabadi residence to widow; approves displacement commission rules, rehabilitation and development funding</h1> The state cabinet approved allocating the Morabadi residence, previously provided for life to a deceased former chief minister, to his widow as a lifetime allotment, following a cabinet proposal chaired by the current chief minister. The assembly had earlier passed a resolution recommending the highest civilian honour for the deceased. The cabinet also approved rules for a State Displacement and Rehabilitation Commission (one chair, two members; chair 10-year term, members three-year terms), creation of state art academies, Rs 159.28 crore for a state bhawan in Navi Mumbai, a Rs 50 lakh migrant workers assistance fund, and a Rs 238 crore dam rehabilitation project with 70% World Bank loan financing.
