The policy targets Rs 5,000 crore investment and significant direct and indirect job creation, offers state-level incentives complementing central benefits, and establishes a nodal agency, a policy implementation unit and an empowered committee to administer implementation. Objectives include strengthening the local supply chain, encouraging innovation, reducing import dependence and positioning the state as a manufacturing hub.
