<h1>India and UAE pledge to reach $100 billion non-oil, non-precious metals trade by 2030 and deepen cooperation</h1> Indian and UAE ministers reviewed progress under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), reaffirming a joint aim to reach USD 100 billion in non-oil, non-precious metals trade by 2030 and agreeing to deepen cooperation in renewables, digital infrastructure, supply chain resilience and healthcare. They committed to timely trade-data sharing, convening the Sub-Committee on Services within two months, and addressing market-access and regulatory issues via the CEPA Joint Committee. UAE regulatory facilitation for pharmaceuticals, mutual inspections, a local currency settlement INR-AED mechanism, and trade facilitation initiatives were noted. India announced an APEDA startup incubation scheme and a 1,200 sqm pavilion at Gulf Food 2026.
