<h1>Industrial production rises 3.5% in July as manufacturing surges 5.4% while mining falls 7.2% cumulative April-July up 2.3%</h1> National industrial production growth rose to 3.5% in July, a four-month high driven by manufacturing, which expanded 5.4% year-on-year from 4.7% a year earlier. The official statistics agency left June's growth unchanged at 1.5%. Mining output contracted 7.2%, while power generation edged up 0.6%. Factory output in July 2024 had been 5.0%. Cumulative industrial production for April-July of the fiscal year increased 2.3%, down from 5.4% in the same period a year earlier.
