The probe follows an Anti-Corruption Branch FIR naming a current party chief, a former health minister, private contractors and unnamed officials, alleging large-scale corruption, unexplained cost escalations, unauthorised construction and misappropriation of funds in dozens of hospital projects; those targeted have alleged procedural tampering and conspiracy.
