of <h1>DRI seizes nearly 9 kg narcotics hidden in soft toys via couriers; one arrested under NDPS Act, 1985</h1> Under Operation 'Rainbow,' Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials in Delhi executed coordinated searches in Mehrauli, seizing 3,095.5 g cocaine, 4,421 g hashish, 1,305.5 g MDMA tablets and 46 g amphetamine-nearly 9 kg of narcotics valued at about Rs. 40 crore internationally-much packaged for distribution and partly concealed in soft toys sent via domestic courier networks. One person was arrested under the NDPS Act, 1985. Initial probes point to an international syndicate operating through foreign nationals using courier-based concealment, trafficking and distribution; investigations are ongoing.
