<h1>Government investor-protection authority and securities regulator hold one-day outreach camp to resolve unclaimed dividends and shares</h1> A government investor-protection authority, in collaboration with the securities regulator, will hold a one-day outreach camp in Hyderabad on 30 August 2025 to streamline claims for unclaimed dividends and shares, provide on-the-spot KYC and nomination updates, and resolve pending authority claim issues. The initiative creates direct interfaces among investors, companies and registrars/transfer agents to eliminate intermediaries and offer immediate redressal through dedicated kiosks operated by stakeholder companies with high volumes of unclaimed accounts. The program expands a prior pilot and targets enhanced investor protection, financial literacy and claim facilitation.
