<h1>PV manufacturer signs MoU for Rs 10,900 crore integrated solar manufacturing facility to expand capacity past 1 GW</h1> A photovoltaic manufacturer has signed a memorandum of understanding with the state government to develop an integrated solar manufacturing facility in an industrial area of Nagpur. The project, proposing approximately Rs 10,900 crore in investment, will span the full solar value chain from wafer to advanced cell and module production and is intended to materially expand the manufacturer's existing capacity (currently two units with a combined 1 GW). The MoU establishes the parties' commercial intentions and framework for collaboration but is typically a preliminary agreement subject to definitive contracts, regulatory approvals, and land, permitting and incentive conditions.
