<h1>Business school-backed Rs 50 crore fund to back early-stage cleantech startups with capital, mentorship and market access</h1> A leading business school-affiliated innovation park announced a dedicated Rs 50 crore fund to back early-stage cleantech and sustainability startups, to be deployed over 12-18 months for ventures in clean energy, climate resilience, sustainable agriculture and waste-to-value solutions. The programme will combine capital with mentorship, market access and partnerships with corporates and government, and forms part of a 'Mission 2047' ambition to impact one billion lives by 2047 through scaling women's and rural entrepreneurship, catalysing ecosystems in underserved eastern and northeastern regions, and mobilising CSR, philanthropic and investor capital. The organisation cites prior metrics-over 130 seed-funded ventures, Rs 2,000 crore in follow-on funding, a portfolio valued at Rs 8,000 crore, 35,000 jobs and 9.5 million people reached.
