<h1>Revenue agency busts clandestine mephedrone lab, seizes 61.2 kg liquid and 541.53 kg precursors under NDPS Act, 1985</h1> Acting on intelligence, a revenue-enforcement agency dismantled a clandestine mephedrone manufacturing facility in a secluded Bhopal premises, seizing 61.20 kg of mephedrone (liquid) valued at Rs.92 crore, 541.53 kg of precursor chemicals and a full set of processing equipment; coordinated raids across four states led to the arrest of seven operatives, including on-site manufacturers, suppliers, transporters and a funds-transfer facilitator. Preliminary inquiries allege hawala transfers from other cities and direction by an overseas kingpin. Offences relate to production, supply and financing of a psychotropic substance prohibited under the NDPS Act, 1985.
