Deputy Chief Minister orders strict monitoring, timely quality delivery of public works and blacklisting of defaulting contractors
The state deputy chief minister reviewed welfare and infrastructure projects in a district, directing officials to ensure timely, quality implementation of public works and to blacklist contractors who delay or deliver substandard work. Officials were ordered to personally monitor budgeted projects and ensure eligible beneficiaries receive scheme benefits promptly. Authorities were urged to encourage corporate social responsibility spending on public-interest projects and seek philanthropic support to repair and strengthen anganwadi centres. The deputy chief minister also noted sanction of central funds under a heritage-restoration scheme for a major temple and other sites, and called for transparent administration and direct citizen communication.
