<h1>Prime Minister opens 10.1 km Dwarka Expressway and UER-II sections, nearly Rs 11,000 crore to ease Delhi congestion</h1> The prime minister inaugurated the Delhi sections of two highway projects-the Dwarka Expressway (10.1 km, ~Rs 5,360 crore) and Urban Extension Road-II (Alipur-Dichaon Kalan stretch plus links, ~Rs 5,580 crore)-totaling nearly Rs 11,000 crore, intended to decongest Delhi and improve connectivity to surrounding cities and IGI Airport. The Dwarka Expressway section links metro lines, a railway station and bus depot and connects to UER-II; the UER-II spurs aim to ease inner/outer ring road congestion and enhance goods movement. Portions in Haryana were previously opened; full operational benefits depend on completion and integration of remaining segments.
