<h1>Government scheme receives 1.46 lakh subsidy applications for micro food processing units by June 2025</h1> A government scheme aimed at formalizing micro food processing enterprises has received over 1.46 lakh applications for credit-linked subsidies by June 2025. In the fiscal year 2024-25, more than 58,000 loans were sanctioned, with over 51,000 disbursed to eligible enterprises. The scheme targets two lakh micro food processing units nationwide between 2020-21 and 2025-26, backed by a budget allocation of Rs. 10,000 crores. This data was disclosed by a government official in a parliamentary response.
