<h1>India Boosts Trade with ASEAN: Finalizes Services & Investment Deals, Supports North-East Exports with New Initiatives.</h1> India is enhancing trade and commerce with ASEAN countries through various agreements, including the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) signed in 2009. Recent negotiations have concluded on trade in services and investment agreements. India has also established CECA agreements with Singapore and Malaysia and is negotiating a free trade agreement with Thailand. To support the Look East Policy, India is focusing on improving connectivity and promoting exports from the North-East region. A North East Cell and an Export Development Fund have been set up to aid export-related activities, with 72 proposals approved for assistance. This was announced by the Minister of State in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
