<h1>Government Grants Green Channel Status to 20 High-Turnover Firms for DGS D Rate Contracts in Major Indian Cities.</h1> The government has granted green channel status for DGS D Rate Contracts to public sector undertakings and firms, both Indian and foreign, with an average turnover of Rs.1000 crore or more over the last three years, and profitability in any three of the past five years. Twenty firms have received this status, distributed across Delhi, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Noida. This initiative aims to enhance the availability of reputed firms in the DGS D Rate Contracts, benefiting user departments. The information was disclosed by the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry in the Rajya Sabha.
