<h1>ADEETIE scheme launched with Rs 1,000 crore budget offering 5% interest subvention for energy efficiency in MSMEs</h1> The Union Minister of Power launched the ADEETIE scheme in Panipat to accelerate energy efficiency adoption among MSMEs. The scheme has a budgetary outlay of Rs 1,000 crore and is implemented by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. It provides interest subvention of 5% for micro and small enterprises and 3% for medium enterprises on loans. The initiative covers 14 energy-intensive sectors including textiles, chemicals, and food processing. The scheme will be rolled out in phases across 160 industrial clusters over three years from FY 2025-26 to FY 2027-28, aiming to mobilize Rs 9,000 crore in investments.
