Hospital launches 15-day Quick Response Training program for healthcare providers to improve emergency medical response skills
A hospital in Kalyan launched a 15-day Quick Response Training program for healthcare providers on Doctors' Day. The Code-QRT program aims to equip first-line practitioners with diagnostic and clinical assessment skills to improve early medical response and patient outcomes. Led by hospital doctors, the training covers patient history taking, physical examination, emergency imaging, ECG interpretation, and decision-making tools for appropriate care escalation. The pilot batch received over 90 registrations with 75 practitioners participating. The initiative addresses the issue of critically ill patients from surrounding areas being transferred to tertiary centers at advanced stages. Plans include expanding the program to other cities nationwide.
