The Agriculture Minister stated that current plants become virus-infected within three to four years, affecting local horticulture products. The facility will focus on improving apple, almond, and walnut plant quality. Additional initiatives include tissue culture labs for saffron cultivation, quality control labs in three districts, horticultural crop insurance coverage, a Regional Horticulture Centre, dedicated irrigation projects, and National Saffron Mission reforms with a specialized scientific team.
