<h1>Public sector bank achieves 13.67% growth with total business reaching Rs 5.24 lakh crore in Q1</h1> A public sector bank reported 13.67% year-on-year growth in total business to Rs 5.24 lakh crore in Q1FY26. Total advances increased 16.58% to Rs 2.25 lakh crore while deposits grew 11.57% to Rs 2.99 lakh crore. Domestic advances showed stronger performance with nearly 20% growth reaching Rs 2 lakh crore. The credit-deposit ratio improved to 75.48% from 72.07% previously, though the domestic CASA ratio declined slightly to 36.90% from 38.62% in the same quarter last year.
