A professional from a Kerala-based food company emerged as winner, receiving Rs 1,00,000 prize money. The competition involved preliminary rounds across East and West coasts, with ten semi-finalists competing before four reached the final round. Participants were evaluated on quality, hygiene, execution, and presentation parameters. Winners from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh companies secured second through fourth positions with respective prize money. The authority plans to make this an annual event to promote skilled workforce development in seafood exports and establish the country as a global hub for value-added seafood products.
