State fuel retailers hike aviation fuel prices 7.5% amid Middle East tensions, cut commercial LPG rates
State-owned fuel retailers increased aviation turbine fuel prices by 7.5% or Rs 6,271.5 per kilolitre to Rs 89,344.05 per kl in the national capital, following international oil rate increases after recent Middle East tensions. This reverses half the reductions implemented since April across three monthly cuts. Commercial LPG rates were reduced by Rs 58.5 per 19-kg cylinder to Rs 1,665, marking the fourth consecutive monthly decrease totaling Rs 138 since April due to softened benchmark rates and low summer demand. Domestic LPG and petrol-diesel prices remained unchanged.
