<h1>AAP candidate wins Ludhiana West bypoll by 10,637 votes, takes oath as MLA</h1> A newly-elected MLA from Ludhiana West Assembly seat was administered oath by the Punjab Assembly Speaker. The candidate, representing AAP, won the bypoll by defeating the Congress nominee by 10,637 votes, securing 35,179 votes against the opponent's 24,542. BJP and SAD candidates received 20,323 and 8,203 votes respectively. The bypoll was necessitated following the death of the previous AAP MLA in January. The winner pledged to work for constituency welfare under senior party guidance and later met the Chief Minister.
