<h1>Mediation campaign to settle suitable pending court cases nationwide in a fixed-term drive promoting accessible dispute resolution.</h1> A nationwide mediation campaign will run from early July through September to promote mediation as a people friendly, cost effective and speedy dispute resolution mechanism and to settle suitable pending cases across all levels of the judiciary. Eligible matters include matrimonial disputes, accident claims, domestic violence, cheque bounce, commercial disputes, service matters, compoundable criminal cases, consumer disputes and eviction. The campaign involves all existing mediators, including recent 40 hour trainees, will operate seven days a week, and permits offline, online or hybrid mediation to increase accessibility and settlement opportunities.
