The state is revising its 2021 EV policy with extended validity and enhanced incentives for buyers and Charge Point Operators. Electric vehicle registrations increased from 1.16 percent in 2021 to 8.71 percent by June 2025. The state currently operates over 550 public charging stations and has issued proposals for developing additional charging infrastructure at strategic locations to support the electric mobility transition.
