These include widespread public awareness campaigns through various media in multiple languages, a dedicated Consumer Education Website, and educational materials like policyholder handbooks and comic books. Additionally, IRDA has integrated the Integrated Grievance Management System (IGMS) with insurance companies to efficiently handle and analyze complaints. This system aids in improving complaint management and identifying systemic issues, providing IRDA with a tool to monitor market conduct. This information was shared by the Minister of State for Finance in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
