Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), Department of Revenue issued a Notification No. 73/2008-Customs (N.T.) dated 16th June, 2008 notifying tariff values of edible oils, brass scrap (all grades) and Poppy seeds as shown in the table below.

Tariff value notification establishes customs valuation for specified edible oils, brass scrap and poppy seeds. Notification sets tariff values for specified goods to be applied for customs import valuation, listing per metric tonne values for edible oils (crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, palmolein variants, crude soybean oil) and separate notified values for brass scrap (all grades) and poppy seeds as the operative benchmarks for import clearance. of Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
