<h1>Government scales up Unified Lending Interface to provide seamless digital credit access for all citizens</h1> The Department of Financial Services convened a high-level meeting to scale up the Unified Lending Interface, a digital public infrastructure initiative aimed at providing frictionless credit access to all citizens. Officials from various government ministries, state governments, and the Reserve Bank of India participated. The ULI is designed to integrate technology, data, and policy into one seamless platform, similar to how UPI transformed payments. The meeting concluded with commitments to digitally integrate government datasets with ULI, nominate coordination officers, digitize land records, and align other lending initiatives to create a unified credit delivery ecosystem.
