The introduction of the Train Protection Warning System and trials for the Train Collision Avoidance System are planned. Track upgrades will include 60 kg rails and advanced welding technology. Self-Propelled Accident Relief Trains will be tested for disaster management, and crash-worthy LHB coaches will be progressively introduced.
