<h1>Railway Minister Unveils Safety Enhancements: Level Crossing Removal, Signaling Upgrades, and New Safety Systems Planned.</h1> The Railway Minister announced measures to enhance train safety, focusing on eliminating 10,797 level crossings and improving signaling to boost safety and track capacity. The introduction of the Train Protection Warning System and trials for the Train Collision Avoidance System are planned. Track upgrades will include 60 kg rails and advanced welding technology. Self-Propelled Accident Relief Trains will be tested for disaster management, and crash-worthy LHB coaches will be progressively introduced. Seventeen distressed bridges will be rehabilitated within a year. A Corporate Safety Plan for 2014-2024 is proposed to ensure long-term safety improvements.
