        <h1>Natural resource management funding enables NABARD to sanction projects nationwide under UPNRM; disbursement status released.</h1> Under the Umbrella Programme on Natural Resource Management (UPNRM), assistance from the German Development Corporation to NABARD was provided in two phased loan and grant packages. NABARD may sanction projects nationwide that meet UPNRM eligibility criteria without fixed State-wise allocations; implementation is occurring in sixteen States and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The annexure records state-wise project counts, sanctioned loan and grant amounts, and disbursements as of 15 February 2013, serving as the operational disbursement register for programme monitoring.
